We're excited to share an inspiring project up in the beautiful Oakland Hills. This time, we’re transforming a terraced hillside into a lush, sustainable, and eco-friendly garden. The best part? It’s going to be a fully edible organic garden, perfect for our clients who are passionate about gardening.

Our design focuses on creating a series of terraced beds, making the most of the hillside’s natural slope. These terraces will be filled with a variety of organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs, turning the entire garden into a vibrant, edible landscape.

We’re committed to sustainability, so we’re using eco-friendly materials and practices throughout the project. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store:

  1. Terraced Garden Beds: Filled with rich, organic soil, these beds will support everything from leafy greens to berry bushes. We’re planning the layout to ensure easy access and optimal sunlight for each plant.

  2. Composting Station: A dedicated composting area will help our clients recycle kitchen scraps and garden waste, creating nutrient-rich compost to feed their plants.

  3. Rainwater Harvesting: We’re installing rain barrels and a drip irrigation system to make the most of natural rainfall, ensuring efficient water use and conservation.

  4. Natural Mulch and Ground Cover: Using organic mulch and ground covers to retain moisture, suppress weeds, and improve soil health without relying on synthetic chemicals.

  5. Pollinator-Friendly Plants: Incorporating native flowers and plants to attract bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators, supporting a healthy and productive garden ecosystem.

  6. Eco-Friendly Pathways: Creating pathways with permeable materials like gravel and wood chips to reduce runoff and improve drainage.

This project isn’t just about creating a beautiful garden; it’s about fostering a sustainable, eco-friendly environment that our clients can enjoy and nurture. We’re excited to turn this terraced hillside into a thriving, organic oasis. Stay tuned for updates as we bring this edible dream garden to life!
